A music installation for the Pasadena Museum of California Art exhibition of Data + Art, 25 Jan – 12 Apr, 2009. The environmental sensors driving the music were developed as a part of Gregory Niemeyer’s Blackcloud Project
The music is based on the live data which the Blackcloud sensors are producing. This version is using three sensors at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. The three sensors (located in the garage, the lobby and the roof) are voiced as Bass, Flute, and Strings. The melodies come from looping data from the last 24 hours.
